ABSTRACT:
Simple and sensitive RP-HPLC methods are described for the determination of Olmesartan medoxomil. High-performance liquid chromatographic method was developed for the determination of Olmesartan medoxomil using Buffer : Acetonitrile (60:40, v/v) as the mobile phase and measuring the response at Lambda max 225 nm. The analysis was performed on a Kromasil C18 (150 X 4.6 mm), 5-micrometer column. The method was found to be accurate, with linearity ranging from 32 to 48 µ gm/ml for HPLC with a correlation coefficient (r2) 0.99979. Precision mean % assay was found to be 101.18% for HPLC. The mean % recovery was found to be 99.67% for HPLC
