ABSTRACT:
India has been successful in managing communicable diseases like polio and cholera, the number of cases related to lifestyle diseases has increased drastically in recent times. The major life style disorder is like obesity, heart disease, cancer, type2 diabetes, hypertension and many more metabolic disorders. In which obesity takes place as a dominant disease in current scenario. Taking into view above all fact randomized Study was carried out to see the effect of Gomutra Arka Bhavita Shilajatu and Agnimantha Bhavita Shilajatu in the management of Sthaulya (Obesity). Study was performed on total 62 patient out of which 32 patients were treated with Gomutra Arka Bhavita Shilajatu and another 32 patients with Agnimantha bhavita shilajatu for 45 days and conclusion was drawn. Research showed Gomutra Arka Bhavita Shilajatu is more effective than Agnimantha Bhavita Shilajatu in sthaulya.
