ABSTRACT:
Agricultural waste is excellent origin of raw materials that can be used in a variety of ways since they include cellulose, proteins, lignin, lipids and other nutrients. A variety of physiochemical and analytical parameters were used to characterise the cellulose that was separated from various biomass, such as peanut shells, coconut coir, and important agricultural wastes. An innovative polymer (cellulose and its derivatives) that can be used in pharmaceutical and technical applications in an eco-friendly manner. It was discovered that the isolated cellulose obtained with a high yield, good pharmaceutical and technical qualities, with strong thermal stability. Agricultural waste clearance and reutilization is a significant problem in today’s world. This study’s primary goal is to facilitate the cellulose production and its extraction from different biomass and it’s characterisation. The cellulose isolated from different biomass was comparatively evaluated for their varied properties for the suitability in pharmaceutical industry or technical applications.
