ABSTRACT:
Antioxidant activity of aqueous extract of the leaves and petals of Calendula officinalis Linn. were evaluated for the antioxidant activity by the FTC and TBA methods. Aqueous extract of petals showed higher antioxidant activity than the leaves. The results obtained in the present study indicate that the leaves and petals of Calendula officinalis are a potential source of natural antioxidants.
