ABSTRACT:
Though simultaneous use of two or more drugs may prove harmful to human health; in certain conditions it is essential to use combination products. The present paper focuses the purpose, symptoms of polypharmacy, precautions to be taken, tips for avoiding polypharmacy and concludes that if necessary precautions are taken it is possible to avoid hazards of polypharmacy.
