ABSTRACT:
A reverse phase high performance liquid chromatographic (RP-HPLC) method has been developed for the estimation of Olmesartan Medoxomil and Amlodipine Besylate in bulk and pharmaceutical formulations. The quantification was carried out using RP-C -18 Phenomenex (250x4.6mm) in isocratic mode with mobile phase comprising50mM Ammonium acetate and Acetonitrile (50:50) v/v. The mobile phase was pumped at a rate of 1.0mL/min and detection was carried out at 239nm.The linearity was found to be in the range 25-125µg/mL. The proposed method was statistically evaluated and can be applied for routine quality control analysis of Olmesartan Medoxomil and Amlodipine Besylate .
