ABSTRACT:
Kinetic methods of analysis are now accepted as standard analytical procedures for various types of samples. Propranolol hydrochloride have been estimated in real and simulated samples by kinetic method using Vanadium(V) in sulphuric acid medium. The estimation has been made from the calibration plots obtained by using pseudo first order rate constant data of the red-ox reaction and also by fixed time and fixed absorbance procedures. The rate data were obtained for the red-ox reaction under varying kinetic experimental conditions.
The results of this study indicate that the estimated values for the simulated samples are consistent and reproducible within ~ ±1.0%.
