ABSTRACT:
A simple, specific, accurate and precise Reverse Phase High Performance Liquid Chromatography method was developed for simultaneous estimation of Cholecalceferol (Vitamin D3) and Tocopherol Acetate (Vitamin E) in powder dosage form on RP C-18 Column (EC 250/4 neucleosil 100-10) using Methanol : Water (97:3 %v/v) as mobile phase. The flow rate was 1.0 ml/min and effluent was monitored at 274nm. The retention time for Cholecalceferol (Vitamin D3) and Tocopherol Acetate (Vitamin E) was found to be as 8.78 and 12.80 respectively. Proposed method was validated for Specificity, Precision, Accuracy, Linearity, and Robustness.
