ABSTRACT:
Arthritis is disease that occurs in the bone joints of human beings. This disease can affect the people of all the age group. This disease cannot be cured but can be controlled at any stage through proper diagnosis and medications. The challenging factor is that, very few diagnosing tools are available for the early diagnosis of arthritis. This paper discusses a novel and simple methodology for the diagnosis of arthritis from the digital X-ray images. The nature of the disease as well as the property of X-rays helps in diagnosis by this method. 10 normal subjects and 15 subjects suspected to have arthritis are for the study. The final results produced by this method showed a significant difference between the normal and the abnormal subjects which has been discussed in this paper.
