ABSTRACT:
Aspergillus sp was isolated from soil and screened for glucose oxidase production. In this present investigation isolates 7 fungal isolates from different soil samples has shown positive glucose oxidase activity. The various parameters like Carbon Source (g/l) (glucose, sucrose, fructose, maltose) nitrogen Source (g/l) (peptone, yeast extract, beef extract), calcium carbonate (g/mL), pH, Temperature (ºC), incubation time and agitation rate used for the maximum enzyme production. The highest GOx production was obtained in glucose (100 g/L) followed by sucrose. Peptone (3-4 g/L) was found to be effective nitrogen source for GOx production when compared to other nitrogen sources. CaCO3 – 40 g/mL, pH – 6 and temperature 35°C and and incubation time 70 h for growth and production of glucose oxidase from screened culture of Aspergillus sps.
