ABSTRACT:
This study was conducted in AL- Qadisiyah governorate in the agricultural season 2016 - 2017 in order to study the water and alcohol extract of Eucalyptus plant in the growth and yield of Hordeum vulgare plant the local variety. The seeds were sown in the soil and irrigated and after the appearance of four leaves, the plants were sprayed with plant extracts (cold water, hot water, alcohol) with concentrations (0, 0.5, 2, 4, 6)% We have (45) treatment. The results showed that the concentrations used for water and alcohol extracts resulted in an increase in plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, fresh and dry weight of plant vegetativepart, number of spikes and weight of 100 grains. The results showed that the extraction method has a significant effect on the studied traits. The cold water extraction method resulted in an increase in the dry weight of the plantvegetativepart, The hot water extract method increased both the fresh weight of theplant vegetative part and the weight of 100 grains , Alcohol has caused an increase in plant height, stem diameter and number of leaves.
