Objective of the study where determine the effectiveness on pain, heart rate and blood pressure among abdominal surgery patients before and after foot massage and associate the selected demographic variables on pain, heart rate among abdominal surgery patients. The design adopted for this study was pre experimental study design. 30 Samples were selected by using non probability convenient sampling technique at Saveetha medical college and hospital, Saveetha University Thandalam. The data was collected organised and analyzed in term of descriptive and inferential statistics. The systolic blood pressure was Paired T test value t=0.009 value p=2.05. The post test diastolic blood pressure Paired T test value t=0.248 and p=2.05 it shows that there is the statistical significant between the pre test and post test value blood pressure is effectiveness is decreasing the level of blood pressure after the abdominal surgery.
