ABSTRACT:
Vaginal cytology serves as a pivotal tool in understanding the physiological changes occurring in the female reproductive tract, particularly during post-menopausal stages. In this study, we delve into the intricate dynamics of post-menopausal symptoms through a comprehensive vaginal cytology examination using female Wistar rat model. After treating with Anastatica hierochuntica extract entrapped pellets, the research focuses on the activity of the Anastatica hierochuntica extract pellets and utility of vaginal cytology in elucidating post-menopausal symptomatology and an analysis of vaginal cytological samples collected from the animal models exhibiting post-menopausal symptoms. Through systematic observation and classification of cellular morphology and patterns, the characteristic changes indicative of hormonal fluctuations and reproductive tract alterations associated with menopause were studied. The findings offer valuable insights into the utility of vaginal cytology as a non-invasive diagnostic tool for assessing post-menopausal symptoms in animal models. Furthermore, the elucidation of cellular changes provides a foundation for understanding the underlying mechanisms contributing to symptom manifestation, thus facilitating the development of targeted therapeutic interventions. In summary, this research underscores the significance of vaginal cytology in enhancing the understanding of post-menopausal symptomatology and highlights its potential as a valuable research tool for investigating reproductive health in animal models.
