ABSTRACT:
Background: The aim of this study is to formulate nanosuspension of Giloy, Mulethi and Cinnamon. These plant species is mainly used as an antiviral and cough relieving effects. In this study ethanolic extract of these plant species is used. The Anti-solvent precipitation method is most suitable to formulate polyherbal nanosuspension of plant extracts. Methods: Nanosuspension was prepared by the antisolvent precipitation method. Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (HPMC) is a polymer and Polyethylene glycol (PEG) is used as a stabilizer. Results: The herbal nanosuspension formulations were evaluated for pH, viscosity, mean particle size and zeta potential. Conclusion: Using optimal nanoparticles herbal nanosuspension is formulated. The Formulation (F2) has optimal pH, viscosity, mean particle size and zeta potential.
