ABSTRACT:
Their ability to avoid and cure a multitude of ailments has prompted more attention from research, which has resulted in a revival of ancient therapeutic methods. As a consequence, more individuals are looking into natural therapies alongside traditional medication to improve their overall health. As a result of this rising fascination, researchers are currently digging into the particular compounds that occur in these plants in an attempt to figure out potential health advantages. These findings support more study into sustainable methods of obtaining these priceless resources in addition to emphasizing the need for protecting biodiversity. As scientists explore further into these plants' phytochemistry, they may discover novel medicines that might transform present medical procedures. Our study's goal is to determine the phytochemical constituents of hydroethanolic seed extract employing conventional approaches, as well as the antioxidant (phenolic content and vitamin estimation, i.e., C and E) and anti-inflammatory (protein denaturation assay) characteristics of Elettaria cardamomum. The findings of these investigations demonstrated that Elettaria cardamomum exhibits more antioxidants (phenolic content and vitamins C and E) and anti-inflammatory attributes than the control. These findings suggest that both plants are rich in physiologically active compounds that might be harnessed to produce anti-inflammatory and antioxidant compounds. Further research into these plants' phytochemical makeup may aid in the creation of new medications that can treat tropical diseases while reducing the demand for synthetic chemicals and so averting environmental harm.
