ABSTRACT:
A series of 1,2,3-triazole and tetrazole derivatives have been synthesized by CuCl catalyzed cyclo addition reaction among 2-azido gemcitabine and compounds contain triple bond in their structure, alkyne and nitrile derivatives in DMF. The structures of the prepared compounds were analyzed by FTIR and 13C and 1H NMR spectroscopic techniques. The heterocyclic compounds screened against two types of bacteria are G-ve and G +ve bacteria, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pneumonia, using Azithromycin as control drug.
